Badminton Rackets

Help me give my students the equipment that they need to be successful in my P.E. classes.

My Students

Students here at school love their time in PE. Most of them are involved in sports and when they get to PE it is a place that they can practice those skills so that they can improve! We have a wonderful group of students here who could benefit from more equipment so they can grow their skill set! This year I would like to try and get better badminton rackets. Some of the rackets that we do have here at the school have been here since I have been, 5 years, and are in rough shape.

My Project

During the school year students in my classes participate in badminton tournaments. Students team up and we play round robin tournament and then we head into a double elimination tournament. Because there are so many students in my classes they see a lot of use. My coworker and I have repaired many of the rackets so they can be used but are in rough shape still.

I hope that I am able to get enough rackets so that students will be able to participate with equipment that is up to par and can enjoy the game and that there are enough that they can practice while they are on the sidelines so that they can improve their skills.
