This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our kids need backpacks! Many of our students come to school without the necessary supplies needed in order to be successful. This includes coming to school without a backpack to carry their supplies to and from school. Help us provide a backpack to a student who needs it!

Backpacks are essential for students because they provide a practical and organized way to carry their school supplies, textbooks, and personal items, making daily commutes and classroom transitions smoother.

A well-equipped backpack ensures that students have all the necessary materials readily available, which can enhance their focus and readiness for learning. Beyond functionality, a backpack can also foster a sense of responsibility and independence, as students learn to manage their belongings and prepare for their academic day. Overall, a good backpack supports both the practical and emotional needs of students, helping them to approach their education with confidence and ease! I've requested a few different styles of backpacks, so that each student can choose the backpack that best represents their personality and can feel excited to show off their new backpack!
