Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are lucky to have a Chromebook for every student in 6th grade. With this technology comes responsibility. Our students will be able to learn how to properly carry a laptop to and from school with these backpacks. Making them ready for school, once schools open back up.

Students need a laptop backpack that will allow them the ability to carry their computer hands-free.

Carrying their computers to and from school should not be a concern of theirs, especially when they are already maxed out on things to worry about. In an area of high gangs, having a backpack to protect their belongings will give them peace of mind when coming to school.

With your donations, our students will be able to come to school with backpacks and will feel more successful, more confident, and more willing to learn. The simple resource of a new backpack can have a huge impact on the life of a student who is not used to having others believe in them.
