My Project

Our students live in a digital world, and they are learning through a digital world the majority of their school day. While this outstanding, students are losing their abilities to write in their own handwriting. I am a firm believer that students should have the writing tools to be creative during the writing process. From brainstorming to editing, writing in print to cursive; writing engages the brain, fine motor skills, and develops thought process.

Penmanship is a way for students to develop communication with others; as well as improves retention of materials learned.

As a teacher, I would like to provide tools (ie: pens, pencils, artistic writing tools, highlighters, sharpeners, erasers) and essential ways to get "thoughts to paper".

Getting "back to the basics" of developing individualism and a life skill that is limitless!
