My Project

Hi! My fifth grade students are full of life, love, and energy! They love being organized, trying new ways to learn and grow, and love learning in a fresh-smelling environment every day. We are running out of basic supplies like highlighters, index cards for our vocabulary words each week, and Air Wick refills, and our stapler keeps breaking!

These basic supplies will help keep us on track with our organizational and study skills along with giving us more options for Friday crafting and art class!

We use index cards every week for our vocabulary words in reading and tough spelling words. There are many of us in the classroom, so we use a lot of cards! We go through highlighters like water, it seems, using them for science, social studies, and composition. We really need some new staplers and staples. Every other day, our stapler likes to get jammed and we pass it around the room until someone frees it from its own clutches!

The arts and crafts supplies will give us more creative options when we have free time on Fridays. The scratch art, wooden stylus pens, plastic sewing needles, and felt sheets will be something we have never experimented with before. How exciting! We will use the yarn and tissue paper to make keepsake ornaments for our families for December along with the pom poms. Thank you for blessing us with these supplies.
