My Students

My class is filled with wonderful eager kindergartners from unique backgrounds. They are constantly excited to learn new things and expand their knowledge through learning and play. They may have not known each other before but they are building amazing relationships with each other and creating a family within the classroom.

My class consists of 22 fascinating, loving, children who can't wait to see what's going to happen next.

Of these children, many are English Language Learners experiencing school for the first time but this doesn't stop them from trying new things and immersing themselves in everything they do.

My Project

Sometimes the basics make so much of a difference. The materials that I am asking for will be used in binders that help encourage reading, improve fluency and sight word knowledge. I try to provide every tool possible to allow children to have access to resources as they learn. Having a paper cutter to create books children can keep, and pocket sleeves so they can have an alphabet chart right in front of them on their desks greatly will help their literacy and writing. Students are always encouraged to use the resources in the classroom to help them and having these materials at their finger tips will do that.
