My Students

Our students are talented and motivated students! Many of their future goals include neurosurgeons, diplomats, pediatricians, engineers and they have the skills and drive to reach them!

Our school is one of the most diverse public high schools in the nation serving a talented, gifted, and driven student population from all over Philadelphia.

I love learning about the different backgrounds, languages, and cultures of my students as we learn together. Many of my students can face obstacles outside of school that distract them or make it harder for them to focus on learning in the classroom. My hope is that with support from their school community, they can overcome any challenges and reach their goals.

My Project

Every math class needs pencils and paper to be successful! These tools will be used on a daily basis by my students to work out algebra and calculus problems. My hope is that by providing the basics for my students, they can focus on learning, doing, and connecting the math concepts we learn this year.

These basic supplies will set my students up for a great year learning Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus!

The graph post-its will put a special emphasis on graphing functions that many students need extra motivation to practice. I can't wait to use these graph post-its for a quick and effective way to graph functions and sort them into different categories.
