Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials donated through this project will mainly be used to help maintain an interactive science classroom for my 7th grade students. Most supplies asked for in this project will help replenish basic class materials that are used on a daily basis in my middle school classroom. Students record data, draw models, and take notes in their composition notebooks daily. Each year, these prove to be a powerful tool to teach students organization skills.

Supplies such as post its, rulers, highlighters, crayons, and pencils will be used daily by students to interact with their notebooks and class work.

Expo markers will be used during interactive lessons where students will be able to brainstorm ideas or play review games on individual whiteboards. Supplies such as Hand Sanitizer and Clorox wipes will be used to ensure that I maintain a clean, safe learning environment for all of my students. This year, I have decided to include wellness items such as tissues, bandaids, and fruit snacks to ensure that students feel cared for in my classroom.
