My Project

I would greatly appreciate your help providing these essential materials for by elementary students. Many of my students are neurodivergent, ranging from autism, ADHD, or fine motor/visual motor delays.

With your donations, I plan on creating meaningful therapy sessions that will help to target skills, such as their executive functioning, sequencing, handwriting, arousal and regulation, and use play to target learning.

I provide occupational therapy services to neurodivergent elementary school-aged students to improve their fine motor, visual motor, and sensory processing skills and help set them up for success in their school environment. I plan on using the laminator to create lasting visuals for my students. The wobble seat will help provide movement during tabletop activities to improve attention. The pencils and colored pencils, erasers, and white board markers are supplies that I’ll be using throughout the entire school year. I plan on using the Fun Tube tunnel for my littles (preschoolers and kindergarten students) as part of an obstacle course. The board games (Feed the Woozle, Diner Drop balancing game, Monkeying Around) will be helpful to teach skills such as force grading, grasp, and turn-taking. The Scissor Skills book comes with great cut-and-paste activities to use in a pinch.

I currently don't have an office chair in my classroom and really need one to avoid lower back pain from sitting in the student chairs! The Lysol wipes will be great for disinfecting my supplies and prevent the spread of germs year round.
