My Project

As a six-year teacher, I am now quite aware that the one thing that holds my students back is being prepared for the day-to-day. The first 5-10 minutes of every single class period could be spent making sure all 30 of my students have the correct supplies ready at their desks, and I promise you, at least 5 of them will have forgotten something. I try to keep my classroom stocked at the beginning of the school year with pencils, highlighters, and pens (you name it), so we can cut down on getting ready for class and learning.

Just like I get excited for fresh school supplies every year, my students do too, and that includes some fresh, new titles to enter my classroom library!

I love browsing Goodreads during the summer to check-out any new young adult titles to interest my new students. I am always trying to grow my classroom library! Thank you for your help in funding this project, it truly takes a village!
