My Project

I want my students to begin the year having everything they need to be successful. Many of my students can't afford to purchase their own materials. If they can, parents don't always speak English and can't read our school supplies lists. Most of our school's population is from Somalia, many of the parents being refugees themselves. These parents love their children and value education, the details just sometimes get lost in translation. They do their best with the hand they have been dealt. These headphones, pencil pouches, and sidewalk chalk will help all of my students get off to a great start this year!
