My Students

What I love most about my students is their willingness to learn and the respect they give me as a teacher. I have hardworking students that care about their education and are willing to share their home life with them. The openness we have with each other builds our student to teacher relationship. They are unique because they all have different personalities that blend in a classroom, making it a classroom community.

My Project

These materials, such as the flexible seating, will benefit my students by giving them a choice to sit in a traditional classroom chair or a seat they will feel most comfortable with and still be engaged in their learning. The theme of the books will set the tone for the school year. Students will be interested in the "Back to School" books and know what to expect this upcoming school year. Those "Back to School" books may also calm their anxiety or nerves about returning to school. The storage boxes will give the students a sense of organization within the classroom.
