My Project

Nothing is better than starting the school year off with new school supplies! As much as we hope that all students would have that privilege, it is often not the reality for the first grade students in my classroom.

This year, I hope to provide a set of crayons, markers, pencils, pencil cases and folders for my students so that they have what they need to succeed throughout the year.

My goal is to take away the stress and embarrassment that students may feel if they are unable to provide these items and make my classroom an inviting, inclusive one from the very first day. While they may seem like simple items, they help set the foundation for the exciting and engaging work to come.
