My Students

My students walk into my classroom everyday, ready to learn! My classroom is an inclusion class. Each and every student has their own unique skills that they bring to our class!

I teach in a Title​ I school in Newark, New Jersey, where most students receive free breakfast and lunch!

Even though my students have many hardships at home, they come to school eager to learn. They are always so excited to see what new tasks and lessons we will be learning about that day. My students want to be in school because it is a safe place, as well as where they are cared for and loved!

My Project

Back to school is going to be a transition for the students this. The bean bag chair will be used as a calm down chair. While at home they were allowed to sit and be where ever they felt comfortable.

So this year in school I would like to give them some seating options to help them get back in the groove of learning.

The seating should be comfortable and make them feel like they are home. They will also be able to have the freedom to move around while obtaining social distancing.
