My Students

Every week, my students attend library class to engage with literature, research, and technology. I strive to make the library a place where students can build a love of reading, learning, and exploring the world around them.

Our library is not a place where children are shushed and told to be quiet at all times.

My students use every inch of the library - from the tables to the computers to the bookshelves to the carpet. They have fun, learn, collaborate, and explore with books, websites, games, and more! This large, light-filled space is just the place for young brains to grow.

My Project

My students will be using the library for the first time this year! After a year of online learning and trying to get a brand new library ready from a distance, I want my students to walk into the library and have everything they need.

The library should be ready for my students in ALL ways!

I want to provide them with labeled shelves to guide them, sticker incentives to motivate them, bracelets to remind them, boxes to organize their crayons, and so much more. I want them to have everything they need!
