Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Equip our students with the ultimate Back-to-School Survival Kit. Returning back to school can be scary for so many of our students, especially our incoming freshman! As we prepare for a new school year, we recognize the importance of supporting our students' social and emotional well-being. Our project aims to create a nurturing environment where every student feels valued and supported walking the halls. With your help, we'll provide a Back-to-School Survival Kit which will contain items such as snacks, motivational stickers, and journals with quotes. Along with inspirational bracelets, stress-relief items like fidget toys and several other resources that will be added to the kit so that students are prepared and ready to take on the new school year.
This initiative will foster a positive school climate, promoting mental health awareness and resilience among our diverse student body.
By supporting this project, you'll contribute to creating a postive start to a new school year and prepared learning environment where students can thrive each day. This will also help us measure the effectiveness of these kits through improved attendance, student engagement, and increased academic performance.
