Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will be utilized in the classroom as well as at home. These will be prepared to be for school-to-home communication. The notebooks and book baggies will be used for daily homework and nightly reading. Students will take home books weekly which they will exchange every Monday. The notebooks will also be used at home for writing and documenting what they have read, by writing or drawing what they read about. The sentence strips will be utilized daily throughout the day through a variety of small group instruction. The faded paper will be used on the bulletin boards to keep their work refreshed throughout the school year.

Learning doesn’t just have to be in the classroom but can also be carried out at home.

Family engagement and involvement are crucial to our students' learning!
