My Students

My elementary students' lives are diverse. My goal is to help my students with excelling academically, emotionally, and socially. While they are eager to explore and learn they are facing many obstacles. Some of my students does not have the basic supplies needed to function in a classroom setting both virtually and in person. Based on my previous years of experience parents/guardian struggles with starting off the school year with the necessary school supplies. There were times when not having a writing utensil or a notebook affected my students confidence which led to them lacking the motivation needed to complete an assignment. This year I want to go above and beyond to provide every on with notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, folders, ruler, copy paper, and other essential stationary supplies.

My School is located in Far Rockaway NY

My Project

My students will be able to use the materials both at home and if they are in person. No child will be without materials. The notebooks will be used to capture notes for each subject taught and as a journal for them to gather their thoughts. The following materials will also be provided to the students; pens, crayons, folders, pencils, and other basic school supplies. In addition each child will also receive personal hand sanitizers and masks which is a part of the new norm.

The plan is to equip each child with the confidence that they need to start.
