Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have been teaching second grade at my elementary school for the past 3 years. The students at my school are artistic and inquisitive little ones who come to school eager to learn despite their financial limitations.

The 2020-21 school year will be very different for all of us, whether it's remote or blended learning.

Our community has been tremendously impacted by COVID-19 and our students haven't been in our school building since March 2020. I know our students have an immense desire to come back to our school building and see their classmates and teachers. Please help me make this school year special and amazing for my new students.

My Project

These pencils, crayons, erasers, composition books, and other supplies that I am requesting for my students are the basic materials they need to engage in learning. We just need your help in getting them to their hands. They will be used by my students in the classroom and at home. The pencil cases will help my students so much in order to keep their supplies organized.

I know how much my students will appreciate knowing they have their basics to start the school year!

My students will be able to focus on the academic material at hand with everything ready and set for a great school year.
