My Project

My new group of students are excited and ready to come back to school and I am just as excited to welcome them back!

As we get to know each other and learn about our class and school expectations, I would love to provide them with interactive games and activities that help them practice these routines and procedures, and learn about our class economy.

Teachers Pay Teachers has several games and interactive activities that will help my students learn our new procedures and expectations, while having fun and feeling welcomed and included. These resources provide a hands-on learning opportunity for students to get back into gear and get them excited to come back to school. They also provide opportunities for students to get to know one another and practice growth mindset and social/emotional learning skills.

Students will also learn about our class economy and financial literacy through the use of various resources purchased through this project. Students will learn how to budget, keep track of expenses, and be able to earn money and then spend it on items in our class store. This gives them hands on learning experiences of real-world scenarios. It also provides motivation and incentives to make good choices.

All of the materials purchased for this project can be used year after year with each new class.
