My Students

My fifth grade students are going places and are very eager to learn. We are building a classroom community, which we call our home away from home. My students understand that we all need to work as a team to make this community work. They are also excited to learn this school year in innovative and fun ways.

My students are not afraid to ask me for what they need to succeed when doing an assignment.

They are older now, with more school experience and they are knowledgable about what resources will allow them to succeed. Since day one, they have worked hard to be the best students they can be. Many students come from struggling families and I want our classroom to be a place where everything can be accessible for them. I hope to be able to give them all the resources they need to thrive and succeed this school year.

My Project

This school year many students will be transitioning from learning from home or having a classroom with smaller classes. Now that we are returning back to school with our new normal, I want to ensure all students feel comfortable and safe. Providing supplies will allow students to feel more at ease and ensure their ability to learn, without worry. We have enough things to worry about such as safety, mental health and we don't have the slightest idea what these students have been through. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
