This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Reading and English Language Arts classes are made up of diverse populations of middle school students with English as their second language. This project will allow students to receive back-to-school supplies to organize their reading and writing classwork and to aid them in developing stronger skills in reading and writing. These students are anxious to learn! The need to begin school with Composition Notebooks, pens, highlighters, copy paper, and snacks is paramount to relieve students of the social and emotional stress they may encounter during the beginning of school. Being able to give them supplies will allow them to focus on their learning and the joy of being in school.
