This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! Their enthusiasm for learning never ceases to amaze me. They work hard every day, staying engaged with hands-on activities and games that help them practice their skills and increase their knowledge. I love giving them the tools they need to succeed.

We are a low socioeconomic area and highly diverse school in Central California.

Nearly all of my students' learning happens at school. Most of my students have not traveled beyond our city walls. We are a small school with a big heart!

My Project

My students are finally coming back to school in person 4 days per week, and I want to make their final 8 weeks as amazing as they can be!

My students need whiteboard markers and microfiber towels to use as erasers when we put the tech down to practice math skills.

I will need to be able to clean their computers at least once per week with a safe cleaner as they will be taking their devices back and forth between home and school. Finally, I want students to be able to make tetrahedron kites as a science and art project. This final geometry project is always a hit. I was not sure I would get students back in person for this fun STEAM activity, and now that they are coming back, I want to be ready!
