My Project

My students have been impacted by COVID-19 in several ways. I feel most have been affected academically because of the lack of in-person classes that we have been able to have during the COVID transition. Our school's attendance has been lacking since 2020. When students miss out on instruction, it causes them to fall behind.

Another way it has impacted our community is through job loss for several families.

Families struggle to be able to meet their students' needs for the classroom when the costs of all household and grocery items have increased due to inflation since COVID.

By receiving card stock, pocket folders, and markers, student will be able to create projects for subjects like health and wellness, money management and healthy relationships. The notebooks will be used for students who can’t afford their own to take daily notes in. The glue and glue sticks will be used to replace classroom supplies to assist with projects throughout the year.
