My Project

Our school has a focus of teaching our students to have learner dispositions that help them be successful students. We teach them to be engaged, ask questions, take ownership of their work, be resilient and reflect on their learning. In order for our students to do these things we need to give them the proper tools.

You wouldn't expect a builder to build a house without the proper equipment, right?

We want our students to be organized so that when they get stuck, they know where to look to solve their problems (dividers for binders). We want them to have the tools they need to write out their questions, collaborate with others and find the answers (white boards/markers, pencils/ erasers etc.).

Our 5th graders are very bubbly, energetic, eager to learn and be creative. These classroom supplies will help set up routines that support our school dispositions and help us build foundation that gets them prepared for middle school, high school and beyond.
