Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A small rug for our classroom will be a basic essential to start off our school year on the right track. In this small space my students can read a book comfortably during our independent reading time. It will also be used for small group instruction and for playing math games.

Dry erase boards are an essential basic for the new school year.

They help review concepts, and they make lessons engaging. These white boards are sturdy and will allow for students to hold up to check responses and get quick replies from me. Being able to have white boards and erasers will give students a better chance to get instant feedback and feel aligned to grade level standards and supports.

I am also requesting pencil boxes so my students start of the new year organized and ready to learn! All of these basics will help my students be successful in the new school year.
