My Project

Preschoolers are so excited to be a big kid, ride the bus, and start school. Their classroom will be their home away from home for the next ten months. I like to welcome them with all of the supplies they will need for writing and taking papers home as well as labeling all of their things with laminated name tags and magnets to take home.

A welcoming environment that includes students' names and pictures makes the student feel like the classroom belongs to them too and is a safe place to be!

We also create individual schedules for special education students to support their understanding of the day and what to expect next. The items in this project will help me to set the classroom up to include all students and create a cozy space for them from the first day of school.
