Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I currently teach at the same school where I was once a student. This community and this school hold a special place in my heart. My students come from low-income families, and all students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Regardless of their background, my students have so much potential and are just waiting for the opportunity to shine.

I would love to be able to be equipped with new and creative ways to motivate and encourage all of my students to reach for the stars.

I want to foster a love for learning, so my students become lifelong learners. By learning new strategies that authentically engage students in their everyday learning, my students will come to love school and learning about just anything. They are the future world changers!

My Project

We have officially started school, this year. I am hoping to complete some projects in the near future with the items listed. We have started with ALL students face to face.

I am planning on making the MOST of each day.

We are not sure how long it will last, but I am hoping that everyone stays safe and healthy.

My project consist of a binding machine for future packets for our students- like a planner, or book menus, or maybe even some student passion projects. I am adding merge cubes to the collection so I can soon have a class set. There are wooden dowels for when I can transform the room into Harry Potter World. And of course, there are books, because they can take us anywhere and everywhere. We also need a printer.
