My Students

Our school is Title I. Students range from Asian to Hispanic to African-American to Arabic. Our school has a high population of special education students with a large spectrum of abilities and challenges such as autistic, emotionally disturbed, speech and language and other health impairments. Our school is the definition of diversity.

This school is comprised of 3K - 5th grade, students with varying abilities and interests.

All of these students come from high needs backgrounds and neighborhoods. This school is full of curious, energetic and inspiring learners.

My Project

Back to school in NYC! This year has been unprecedented to say the least. Students are ready to get back into the classroom, see their teachers and friends and begin learning! However, they cannot do this as they normally would have.

Help these Title 1 students transition back to school safely.

Masks will help keep children healthy and safe. Crayons will help them be creative.

Since students cannot share supplies this year, these packs of crayons will give each student the opportunity to have their own crayons at the start of school regardless of socio-economic status.
