My Project

My students are a bunch of busy bees. My students enjoy exploring and learning through using various manipulatives in the classroom. Each material being asked for, in this project, will allow my students to use their creativity and imaginations while learning and building on language development as well as vocabulary. The curriculum that the students will participate in has 10 different units of study. Each unit of study promotes students' thinking through conversations, open ended questions, and the use of the materials in this project will encourage and allow my students to understand as well as, interact in different manipulatives. During our lessons, student will engage in discussions based on a focus question, foundational text, or share their experiences. It is essential for me to provide my students with as many learning opportunities as I can for the diverse learners in my classroom.

The way my students will use the resources requested in this project is through daily participation in learning centers such as Dramatic Play, Block Learning Center, and Sensory Learning Center.

Students will use the resources to build on their expressive and receptive language, increase vocabulary, and use imaginative play with other peers. The resources requested in this project will provide my students with growth in language and thinking. My goal for my students, this year, is to bring back as much of normalcy as possible into the classroom, and truly provide them with the most authentic school experience.
