My Project

Our incredible students with disabilities bring unique energy and creativity to our classroom, and it is a privilege to support their learning journeys. We are requesting activities including board games, card games, and other interactive activities, to make a significant impact on our students' mental health and overall well-being.

These games will provide essential mental health support in several ways:

Social Interaction: Games create opportunities for students to interact with peers, helping them develop crucial social skills like cooperation, communication, and turn-taking. This fosters a sense of belonging and community, reducing feelings of isolation.

Cognitive Development: Many games require strategic thinking and problem-solving, enhancing our students' cognitive abilities and critical thinking skills, which are vital for mental health.

Emotional Growth: Playing games together helps students manage emotions, build friendships, and experience both winning and losing in a supportive environment. This promotes emotional resilience and self-regulation.

Fun and Engagement: Games make learning enjoyable and engaging, providing a positive break from traditional methods and encouraging active participation, which boosts overall happiness and motivation.
