My Students

I teach at a unique urban school in Los Angeles. My students come from a variety of backgrounds. I teach students in kindergarten through fifth grade, and many of them have individual needs that do not allow them to attend a traditional school on a daily basis.

Many of my students have emotional and social issues, frequent medical treatments, safety concerns, difficulty in a traditional school setting, and/or are homeless.

My students each face their own challenges every day outside of school. Some are grade levels behind and others are grade levels ahead.

My Project

My students will return to the classroom after a year of virtual learning due to the pandemic. They are looking forward to returning to school and returning to a routine they are comfortable with. Protocols have been put into place which will help keep them safe and the students are ready to come back.

My students need basic supplies so that they can focus on learning.

I have requested supplies such as composition books, crayons, pencils, pens, erasers, Kleenex tissue, rulers, and glue.

Without the basic supplies, students will not be able to focus on completing assignments and homework. Please help donate to our classroom project so that my students can have the basic learning tools.
