My Students

My first graders come to school full of energy and ready to conquer the world. My job is to keep them motivated and to develop critical thinkers. Each child learns differently, and part of my job is to find out how to reach them. Some are visual learners, some are auditory learners, and some learn by hands-on activities.

We need to figure out how to reach all learners.

My students are sweet and eager to learn. They are motivated and want to be successful students. They just need the opportunity.

My Project

We are fortunate to be able to use technology daily in my class. Now, I find a strong need to get back to basics. The pencil grips will reinforce the correct way to hold a pencil and motivate students to write even more in their new primary journals. The crayons and pencils will give them fresh materials to write about their adventures in learning.

With the increasing use of technology, we still need to be able to take a pencil to paper and write out our thoughts.

These materials will go a long way in keeping our students motivated to become educated, independent learners.
