My Students

I teach kindergarten and first grade English Language Learners. They come from low income households with limited resources. I wish to provide my students will the necessary resources to super their learning and English language skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.

My students come with a wealth of knowledge, sometimes not knowing how to express themselves in English.

I wish to give them the tools and the extra support they need so they can be proficient in the English language.

My Project

It's back to school time! My students will need pencils so they can begin to learn how to write. They will begin to learn how to express themselves through the use of a pencil and some paper. My students will also need expo markers so we can work in phonic stations using mini dry erase boards that were kindly donated from our last project. These stations are engaging and most importantly, effective in teaching students about phonics and the basics of writing. I will also need flip chart markers and card stock paper to create engaging and supportive anchor charts for my students.
