My Students

Our students are very special to us. Despite their struggles, they greet my co-teacher and myself with huge smiles and hugs. They are eager to learn and love to have fun! We love watching our students pretend to be teachers and utilize chart paper to lead a lesson. We are bucket fillers and love filling each others' buckets each and every day. We love math and reading stations and can't wait to learn as a group each day. Thanks a lot.

My Project

Enter our classroom and it's brightly colored and filled with desks and chairs. But we all know that students need more than that in their "home away from home". Despite their low income status, our students come to class eager to learn and have fun each day, yet lack the basic supplies needed to truly learn. Let's give them a great start to a new year. As visual learners, our students need basic classroom supplies so that they can receive the most engaging lessons possible. Chart paper, pencils, paper towels, wipes, Math and Reading games are just a few of the items we desperately need. We will use these items in small groups and learning stations. These basic items will enhance the learning experience of our students. Join us on this journey and make a difference in the lives of our 2nd graders today. Your donation will have a lasting impact on our students and we thank you in advance for your generosity.

My students are homeless and find it challenging to purchase notebooks, pencils, folders, paper and other school supplies.

With this project, my students will not feel left out and will be able to complete their daily in class and homework assignments. Completing homework is difficult because they don't have pencils at home to write with. I just want them to focus on doing their best and I dont want them to start the year off at a disadvantage. They deserve a chance to have a great year.
