My Students

My students are amazing kids who face many challenges both at home and at school. My students all have various disabilities, but they don't let their disabilities hold them back.

All of my students are unique, but one thing is the same in each of them: they love to learn!

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and face many challenges before even entering our school. We work together every day to overcome those challenges and reach new heights. I work with about 75 special education students every week, reaching kids with various disabilities. My students love to move, explore, and play.

My Project

Well, we have made it to the 100th day of school and my students have shown so much growth this year! This far into the school year though and our learning tools are in short supply. We need your help to resupply some of our absolutely crucial basics. We need lamination to preserve activities that my students do daily.

My special learners require lots and lots of practice to gain new skills and when we have lamination we can practice various learning activities many times.

We use dry erase markers to write, especially when doing our laminated activities. The Velcro dots will be used to make activities for my students who can't yet write answers because of fine motor difficulties and goldfish crackers will help keep our bellies full so our brains can focus on learning!
