This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are imaginative, resilient, and eager to learn! I teach literacy, math, science, health, and social studies to a class of twenty-four enthusiastic second graders. My future second graders and I miss being in the classroom! In the past, their favorite time of day was reading aloud, writing, and math.

Even through these tough times we are always looking for inventive ways to fund our learning adventures.

This is my fourteenth year of teaching. I can't wait to make this the best year for my students by creating a better learning environment for them to enjoy!

My Project

This will be the first year my students are back in school since March 2020. Help me give my second students the best school experience that I could.

These supplies will help enrich their writing center and other various learning centers in the classroom.

Several of these supplies will help me create a warm inviting classroom for students to walk into on the first day of school. This school year will not be entirely back to normal but we will make the best of it by creating a warm and organized classroom environment.
