Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is for the little ones that I teach in the South Bronx. It has been a harsh winter thus far. I've noticed that so many of my students in kindergarten through second grade don't have hats or gloves. And at least three of them do not even have a warm coat in this extreme weather.

A coat like the Under Armour Pronto Puffer Jackets, fleece-lined thick ski caps, and scarf and glove sets will provide them with warmth and comfort and a readiness to listen and learn in class.

I teach in a Title I and Title III specialized school. My students have challenges related to their disabilities and special needs. Help me remove at least one challenge from their young lives. These cold-weather clothings will make a huge difference in how they come into school, and how long it takes them to process and meet their learning goals for the day. Please help give a little warmth and make a difference in their lives.
