My Project

I am requesting two carpets for the students to have a warm spot to come up to when I'm teaching. During Covid all my rugs in my classroom were removed. Since then the students sit on the floor during my Unplugged Activities. Even though the room is heated during the day, at night the heat is turned off. The room is cold during the morning hours especially in January and February when outside the temperatures run in the 40's. Most of my students don't own pants and coats to keep them warm. During these colder months they wear tights or sweats under their shorts. Having a warm rug in the front of the room would be so appreciated. It would make the learning environment so conducive to learning and motivate the students to stay focused.
