Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will embark on an exciting journey as explorers of their own state, uncovering Arizona’s hidden gems, historical heroes, and breathtaking natural wonders. Through research, writing, and artistic expression, they will bring to life the diverse landscapes, cultures, and stories that make Arizona truly unique. From the towering saguaro cacti to legendary figures of the Old West, each letter of the alphabet will showcase a different aspect of Arizona’s rich heritage.

With curiosity as their compass, students will dive into the past, present, and future of Arizona, crafting an A-Z showcase that highlights the state’s beauty and significance.

This project will not only deepen their understanding of their home but also foster creativity, critical thinking, and a sense of pride in the place they call their own.
