Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am teaching 26 creative, eager students this year! My students come to school each day ready to learn and are inspired to learn something new each and every day! My students include a combination of English language speakers and native Spanish language speakers. My students are wonderful bilingual readers and writers. Our school is a comprehensive learning community dedicated to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. I want to provide a safe space for children of all cultures to come together and learn. I want them to have a great year.

My Project

Help me give my students a Cricut to make personalized educational materials to support reading, math, and social/emotional skills. a classroom with brightly colored visuals, with matching words cut out perfectly would be ideal for student learning and student engagement. There are many lessons that we teach that require independent work and most of the time we don't have any materials to match the lessons. Having a Cricut machine, I would be able to create these hands on materials to engage my students to successfully complete their independent work. More engagement means more learning is happening and that is every teachers dream! Your donation will give us a greater opportunity to be more productive and open doors to bringing to life our projects.
