This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Want to know how 5th graders achieve a state test? By being prepared!

Your donation will provide my students with the opportunity to have some privacy during a test.

My students have desks, and sometimes the classroom can become a distraction while taking a test. The privacy folders ensure that my students can focus on their test without being distracted. My students will also have a brand-new set of headphones. Most state tests are required to use a computer. Students sometimes have to listen to directions, or a passage on the computer. In order not to distract other students, they use headphones. We ask students to buy their own at the beginning of the school year, but by the time we get to state testing in the spring, their headphones are either worn out or broken. Pencils are also a requirement for state testing. The school usually purchases these pencils for state testing, but they need to be sharpened after each testing session.

Your donation of two pencil sharpeners will ensure that student pencils are sharpened and ready to go!
