My Project

I love teaching my learners in Hawaii because they bring unique life to the classroom. As we move into a technological landscape of learning, my students love hands on work in a comfortable space. They always ask “Mr. S, can we draw or color?” or they ask “Mr. S can I charge my phone?”

I want to provide them with a comfortable space with charging stations for their phone, snacks to reward good behavior and accomplishments and provide supplies to enhance their engagement in activities.

With these few items, they’ll get that! I plan to use the shoe rack to make individual charging pockets to hang on the wall for them. I have bought a couch and folding chairs for a study area to company their devices so they may feel comfortable learning in an inviting space. I hope they can have extra pencils, places to put their folders and more with the supplies I am able to get here and to start off the new school year with a bang!
