My Students

We believe in our students and want them to be successful in school and in life. Having great books in the Media Center will help our students reach their literacy goals.

Our students attend a middle school in a high poverty area in Indiana.

They don't have all of the resources that most students have but they are bright, creative kids who just need a chance to be successful. If we can catch their attention with good books they can be encouraged to read and improve their literacy skills.

My Project

Literacy is a high priority at our school. These award winning books will help students to improve their reading skills and meet their classroom reading goals. The Coretta Scott King Award books will help our students learn more about the challenges that will face them in their future.

You can make a difference in the lives of our students by donating to this project and providing these award winning books to our media center.

Having these books available will encourage students to read.
