Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year we have 2 full classes of avid readers! They love to read books of different genres, especially chapter and graphic novels. This year we have students who are reading at or above grade level and are in need of books to help increase their reading level even more.

This year my library only consists of mostly read aloud, content, and beginner reading books.

These books are not enough to encourage our students to read at home or to borrow physical books. I would love my students to become more excited in borrowing books from our classroom library and to write about their books to other classmates.

This project will encourage my students to read more at home and in school.
