Many of my students are either nonverbal or have limited ways to express themselves. We are in need of lamination sheets, cardstock and Velco so we can print off activities and books with pieces to move around and match.
Not only will these items be more durable and made to last, but they also allow for more inclusion throughout the classroom on a daily basis for a lot of our students.
Life can be challenging enough for students with Autism, making these books and activities allows for an easier way to communicate choices, demonstrate skills learned, and demonstrate comprehension skills.
