My Students

Have you ever been so distracted you felt like you just could not concentrate? Well the students in my classroom have this problem on a daily basis.

The students in my classroom all have varying degrees of Autism.

The attend a regular school and are educated in a self-contained Intensive Communication Program. Even though they face many daily challenges, they still have an amazing energy and excitement about learning.

My Project

My students have shown they are capable of so many amazing things, but because of external distractions it can make learning very difficult for them. Having this simple divider can make the world of difference for my kids. It allows them to really focus on their work instead of being distracted by external factors. Having this type of calm environment is essential for a student with Autism.

This simple piece of furniture will help my students to fully concentrate and truly work to their full potential.

It may seem like a small thing but to my students it will really make a huge difference!
