My Students
My students are living through this pandemic in the hardest hit area in the country. They have been trying to make this tremendous transition to remote learning, but it has been very difficult due to the limited resources available to them at this time.
My Project
Many of my students do not have the basic classroom supplies needed to fully participate in their occupational therapy tele-therapy sessions. Remote learning has been very challenging for my students and their parents, especially when they don't have the appropriate child-friendly tools like scissors, crayons, paper, and glue-sticks to complete the required activities. Another hardship is that most of my students do not have access to a printer, making it impossible for them to print out any worksheets that I may want them to do at home or during our tele-therapy sessions.
These resources will provide my students with the tools and materials they need in order to participate successfully in their tele-therapy sessions at home.
