This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a lively, and diverse bunch. They are all on the Autism Spectrum. One of our classroom's main focuses is Life Skills. It is imperative that our students acquire these pivotal skills to be self-reliant. We will be focusing on self-care, like dressing and hygiene. As well as other important skills, such as counting money, and telling time. We believe that one of the greatest things we can teach our special students is how to be independent. Help us reach our goals of independence and communication.
