My Project

My students are diagnosed on the autism spectrum and range in age from 5-10 years old. They receive small class instruction and services that include speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and counseling.

My students need to work on their fine motor skills and to tap into their creativity using various modes of artistic expression.

I want them to use not only basic classroom tools and materials like crayons and scissors, but Play-Doh, Washi tape, and paint pens to use on various surfaces.

I want to display their works of art on multiple bulletin boards, not just in the hallway, but also in their classrooms! I hope to inspire the other teachers to explore their students' creativity too!
